SOUTHERN GAUL. Ruteni. Late 2nd-early 1st century BC. Drachm (Silver, 13 mm, 2.23 g), 'Goutrens au torque' type. Stylized male head with S-shaped locks to left. Rev. Cross with pellet-in-annulet in first and fourth quarter, curved torque in second, and ax in third. CCCBM 97-8. LT -. Savès 259-68. Scheers, Seine-Maritime 102-9. SLM 93-5. Beautifully toned, sharply struck and unusually well preserved. Extremely fine.
